CURRENT VACANCIES: Bookings Administrator and Carers Assessment & Advice Worker

Come and join our friendly and dynamic team to support carers in Croydon!

The Carers Information Service provides free information, advice and support to unpaid carers who are looking after someone who needs help due to illness, disability or old age. We run the Carers Support Centre in central Croydon, a lively and welcoming one-stop shop for carers in the borough and offer a wide range of services including health and wellbeing activities, support groups, advice surgeries, publications and workshops. We are part of the Whitgift Foundation and supported by Croydon Council.

We are currently advertising for the following posts:

Bookings Administrator (Maternity Cover)

Croydon

Annual Salary £22,000-£23,500 (35 hours per week)

To manage our room hire system, including making bookings, invoicing and setting up rooms. The successful candidate will be well organised and highly numerate, with excellent communication skills and plenty of energy.

Carers Assessment & Advice Worker (Part-Time)

Croydon

Annual Salary - £15,000 (21 hours per week)

To undertake statutory Carer’s Assessments, as well as provide advice, information and casework support to carers, both in person and over the phone. The successful candidate will be experienced and self-motivated, with excellent communication skills and a good understanding of the issues facing carers.
